Interview: Onondaga County Elections Commissioners prepare for the polls to open, county sees record numbers of voters so far

ONONDAGA COUNTY (WSYR-TV) — Early voting has concluded and Central New Yorkers had nine days to head to the polls early.

According to Onondaga County Elections Commissioner Dustin Czarny, this was the highest total of early voting outside of a presidential year.

In Onondaga County, there were just more than 9,700 early voters and just under 5,000 absentee ballots mailed in.
