Tompkins County Public Health Director talks about how county has maintained low COVID numbers

Interviews

TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The story on COVID-19 in the State of New York is a mixed bag, depending on the region you look at.

There are low positivity rates and cases per 100,000 in New York City, for example, and much higher rates in Central New York and the southern tier. Tompkins county, which is a bit of an outlier, has very low numbers.

Tompkins County Public Health Director Frank Kruppa joined NewsChannel 9 to talk more about this.
