A 19 year old woman is dead after a head on collision on Saturday in the Town of Williamstown in Oswego County.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a crash along State Route 13 in Williamstown, east of County Route 19 around 11:45 a.m.
The investigation into the crash found a 2017 Dodge 5500 lift boom truck driven by 45 year old Jeffery A. Carroll of Little Rock Arkansas was travelling east on St Rt 13.
The truck crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2006 Chevy Impaladriven by 19 year old Mikayla E. Guile of Pulaski head on. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Carroll was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Carroll was ticketed for failure to keep right, unlicensed operation, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
The collision is still under investigation.
