An Oswego County aluminum production company announced that it will be providing their products to Jeep for the 2018 Wrangler.
Novelis has already has finished lines for Ford’s Super Duty trucks.
This expansion with Jeep is the first time the Wrangler will incorporate aluminum, making it 200-pounds lighter and raising gas mileage by three miles per gallon.
The aluminum will be applied to the car’s doors, fenders, swing gate, and windshield surround.
