UNITED STATES (WSYR-TV) — Cell carrier AT&T is switching on a blocking system for new customers. The company says it will block known bogus calls and give alerts about suspicious spam calls.
This comes after new federal rules allow automatic spam call blocking.
Customers can opt-out if they want to. AT&T says existing customers will see the features come online in the coming months.
