Colgate assistant coach Pat Moore is the most-veteran member of the Raiders at only 27 years old.
Moore began his collegiate playing career in 2010 — a year before head coach Matt Langel took over the program.
Moore will be too busy in Columbus, Ohio, tonight to watch the Syracuse game. His priorities now are different then childhood, when he had season tickets to the Carrier Dome.
“I grew up like everyone else. Big Syracuse Orange fan. It’s changed a little now,” he said.
Having played for the school, and now on the team’s coaching staff, Moore has first-hand knowledge what it’s like to be a Raider.
“I try to give these guys my experiences. Obviously I played here, I went to school here, I gave them little tid bits on what professors to take,” he said. “It’s just good to have someone that’s been around the program from around the area.
