A Cayuga County man suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed in the head, hand, and torso on Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
28-year-old Nathan Fillingham has been charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the incident that hospitalized 35-year-old Joshua Hoeffner.
Sheriff’s Deputies found Hoeffner suffering from stab wounds when they responded to the scene on Victory Road in the town of Victory around 11:36 p.m.
He was initially taken to Upstate University Hospital, and then transferred to Crouse Hospital.
Fillingham was arraigned in Town of Victory Court and taken to the Cayuga County Jail where he was held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
