The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was found dead at a recycling plant in the Town of Clay last week.

The body of 25-year-old Christopher Azzara, of Cicero, was found in a bale of recyclable material at the Waste Management Recycling Plant on Steelway Blvd. South.

An employee at the plant discovered the body last week.

The medical examiner’s office says Azzara died from multiple blunt force crushing injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, which appears to be non-criminal in nature.
