Document shredding event Saturday at NYS Fairgrounds

News

GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — It’s a couple of days away, but you might want to start gathering your unwanted bills, old documents or other papers you want to get rid of. A shredding event will be held on Saturday at the New York State Fairgrounds.

The event will be held in the Brown Parking Lot from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event is free and open to Onondaga County residents. It does not require registration.

Household papers like old bills, tax documents or anything containing your name or address are ideal papers to get rid of securely.

They will also be collecting donations if you are able to give for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
