UPDATE: The girls placed second in the world at the Rising Star barbershop competition in London. Congrats!
When you picture a barbershop quartet, this is not exactly what comes to mind. And that’s part of the fun of it for the girls from Liverpool High School who call themselves Perfect Fourth.
Last year, Perfect Fourth competed in the international youth competition in Oklahoma and placed fourth in the world. This summer, the competition is being held in England. The group applied to the Extraordinary Talent Fund for help with travel expenses.
The girls have only been singing together for two years. They sing everywhere: Nursing homes, schools, even at airports during flight delays.
Right now, the young ladies from Perfect Fourth are at the world competition in England. The trip would not have been possible without the Extraordinary Talent Fund.
