ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – The state tourism board released its first fall foliage report of 2019 this week.
This was the first report of the season and showed that fall colors are just beginning to emerge across New York’s Adirondack and Catskill regions.
Color changes were also reported in:
- Thousand Islands-Seaway
- Hudson Valley
- Central New York
- Greater Niagara
Reports are obtained from volunteer field observers and reflect expected color conditions for the coming weekend. Fall Foliage Reports are issued every Wednesday afternoon.
