Salina neighborhood meeting on I-81 set for Sept. 11th

Future of 81

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — NewsChannel 9 is getting results when it comes to the future of Interstate 81.

After neighbors in Salina came to us asking if there would be a meeting with DOT officials there, it’s now official that there will be.

The state tells NewsChannel 9 that a community meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Middle School in Liverpool.

Last month, NewsChannel 9 took concerns about there being no scheduled meeting in Salina straight to the DOT, which said it would take all requests into consideration.
