AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Cayuga County Health Department says harmful algal blooms have been reported on Cayuga Lake.

The Health Department warns that more algal blooms could pop up, due to the warm weather.

Algal blooms are potentially dangerous and should be avoided. That means no swimming, fishing, boating or drinking the water.
