CENTRAL NEW YORK (WSYR-TV) — More than 650 cyclists are crossing New York State through the Erie Canalway Trail between Buffalo and Albany as part of the 21st annual Cycle the Erie Canal Tour.
On Tuesday, the cyclists arrived in Seneca Falls to round out the third day of their eight-day, 400-mile journey. There, they will be visiting the National Women’s Hall of Fame and the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Home.
Cyclists from 39 states, Canada and Australia are all taking part in the cross-state trip, covering between 40 and 60 miles per day on the trail that will be complete by 2020.
