Residents in the Liverpool Central School District voted to approve Phase Four of the Long-Range Facility Plan.

The final tally was 326 in favor and 44 opposed.

The components of the capital referendum include:

  • Complete roof replacements at Long Branch Elementary and Donlin Drive Elementary
  • Partial roof replacements at the Soule Road Complex, Liverpool Elementary and Liverpool Middle
  • Boiler improvements at Nate Perry Elementary, Wetzel Road Elementary and the District Office
  • Bathroom upgrades at the Liverpool Public Library (including the installation of ADA accessible toilets and hardware)

Phase Four of the project is expected to cost around $10.4 million.

In a report, the New York State Department of Education identified $180 million of capital improvements that need to be addressed over the next decade.

There will be no additional tax impact for LCSD taxpayers.
