An 11-year-old male was arrested on Saturday after police say he stole a bike on the north side.
Syracuse Police spoke with a 68-year-old man who reported he had been robbed by a juvenile male around 12:30 p.m.
According to police, the victim said that he had been walking his bike on the 200 block of Cleveland Ave. when he was approached by the suspect.
Police say the victim continued walking but the suspect followed him and grabbed the bicycle. When the man resisted, the suspect punched him in the head causing him to fall to the ground. Police say that’s when the suspect left with the bicycle.
