BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Teeing up for a good cause! Local golfers took to the links to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Timber Banks Golf Course in Baldwinsville hosted the 32nd annual Make-A-Wish Open on Monday.
The event sells out every year and raises more than $30,000 to grant wishes for children, like 15-year-old Harry McClain.
“The Make-A-Wish experience was amazing because it gave me something to look forward to throughout my entire surgery and recovery period,” McClain said.
The next big event for Make-A-Wish of Central New York is The Walk on the Wild Side, which is set for July 19th at the Wild Animal Park in Chittenango.
