BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Thursday night, Baldwinsville held their annual Memorial Day Parade. Hundreds lined East Genesee Street to see all the festivities.
The parade had marching bands, including the Baldwinsville Bees marching band and the Syracuse Highland Pipe Band, along with many more.
The parade was a tribute to honor all who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country free.
For many in Baldwinsville, heading out to the parade year after year is a tradition.
“I’ve been in this town for 44 years,” Mickie Lorenz said.
Our reporter asked, “Why do you come back every year?”
Lorenz replied, “Because it’s tradition!”
Many vintage cars also took part in the parade.
