UNION SPRINGS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) It’s going to be a big fishing weekend on Cayuga Lake.
The Bassmaster Elite series will be conducting a tournament this weekend in the Finger Lakes.
The morning launch is a sight to see and you might want to attend the daily weigh-ins during the afternoon.
Here is the schedule of events for the weekend
Thursday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 23
6:30 a.m.: The full field of anglers launch on Cayuga Lake. Public launch viewing is available each day from Frontenac Park (26 Chapel St. Union Springs, N.Y. 13160)
3 p.m.: Official weigh-in takes place at Frontenac Park
Saturday, Aug. 24
6:30 a.m.: The Top 35 anglers launch for semifinals
Noon: Bassmaster Elite Series Outdoors Expo opens at Frontenac Park
3 p.m.: Official semifinals weigh-in begins at Frontenac Park
Sunday, Aug. 25
6:30 a.m.: The Top 10 anglers launch for the final day
Noon: Bassmaster Elite Series Outdoors Expo opens at Frontenac Park 3 p.m.: Official final weigh-in for the 2019 SiteOne Bassmaster Elite at Cayuga Lake begins at Frontenac Park
