Big Bugs exhibit arrives at Syracuse zoo

Local News

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — If you are a fan of bugs, this might be the time to head to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. But don’t worry, these bugs won’t bite.

A summer exhibit of seven giant animatronic insects arrived Monday morning. They are being placed in a wooded section of the zoo’s Wildlife Trail for the summer.

The exhibit is designed to spark interest in science, much like the dinosaur exhibit last summer.

The bugs will remain stationary until June 12th. After that, don’t be surprised if you see them moving around.
