Bone marrow registry drive for police officer battling cancer

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Cicero Fire Department will host a bone marrow registry drive Monday for a Manlius Police Sergeant battling cancer.

The drive asks volunteers to take a cheek swab test to become part of a bone marrow registry, in hopes of finding a bone marrow donor match for Sgt. Ken Hatter, who is battling Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

The event is being held at the Cicero Fire Department on Brewerton Road between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Parking is available at the rear of the station.
