The Camillus Country Club will be reopening their new clubhouse in the next few weeks.
The building was lost in a fire three years ago but owners say the new building will make members feel at home.
“We’re bringing the outside in,” said General Manager Jivi Govender. “There are great views of the golf course; spent a lot of money on windows.”
“Really tried to make it as comfortable as possible,” added Govender.
Details members can expect to see include a new bar constructed from barn wood and copper, a hand carved door imported from South Africa and a hand painted golf portrait by a club member.
Although no exact date has been set, Govender says the grand opening will be in two weeks.
As for the course, golfers can start hitting the green Friday.
