CDC reports “Substantial” COVID transmission rate in Onondaga County; we’ll find out soon what it means for county residents

ONONDAGA COUNTY (WSYR-TV) — The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has listed Onondaga County as an area of substantial coronavirus transmission.

Last week the CDC announced that in counties listed as areas of substantial and high transmission they recommend fully vaccinated people wear a mask in public indoor settings.

This is a recommendation by the CDC.
