People of all faiths are coming together after Saturday’s deadly shooting at the Chabad of Poway Synagogue in California, including right here in Central New York.
On Sunday night, a community prayer vigil was held at the Chabad Judaica Center of Fayetteville. People gathered to honor the life lost, and pray for those impacted by the shooting.
Rabbi Yaakov Rappaport said we cannot let violence scare us away from places of worship.
“A little light dispels a lot of darkness and the power of good is far greater than the power of evil. We see, that, but we have not harness that power,” said Rappaport.
