Central Square man arrested for Mexico cemetery vandalism

CENTRAL SQUARE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — State Police arrested Joseph R. Elacqua, 22, from Central Square, for causing over $5,000 in damage to the Mexico Village Cemetery lawn on several dates in October with his vehicle.

Elacqua was charged with second-degree Criminal Mischief. He was arraigned in the Town of Albion Court and released on his own recognizance.

Elacqua’s next court date is in the Town of Mexico Court on November 19, 2019.
