SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A Syracuse woman convicted in a deadly drunk driving crash in 2010 has pleaded not guilty to a new DWI charge.

Investigators say Chelsea Kuss was drunk when she crashed and flipped a car just outside the former Rosie’s Pub and Grille in the Tipperary Hill neighborhood back in April.

Kuss had previously served five years in prison for a 2010 drunk-driving crash that killed her friend, Victoria Deverso, 17.

Kuss is is currently out on $50,000 bail. She will be back in court later this summer.
