Cicero native Joal Farabee became the next Central New York hockey standout to sign an NHL contract. Monday Farabee signed an entry level deal with Philadelphia Flyers.
Farabee was the 14th overall pick by the Flyers in the 2018 NHL Draft.
In his only season at Boston University Joel Farabee scored 17 goals and dished out 19 assists (both team highs).
This past year, Farabee won a silver medal with Team USA at the World Junior Championships.
Joel has been assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL.
