Congressman John Katko made his way through the 24th Congressional District Saturday afternoon on his motorcycle, hosting town halls throughout Central New York.
He drove from Oswego County, to Wayne County, and to Cayuga County before capping off his ride in Baldwinsville. It’s a chance for the congressman to hear from constituents before he’s up for re-election.
“I’ll be here as long as people want me to be,” said John Katko. (R-24). “I don’t have to have this job, but I’m here because I want to do it, and I think I’m doing a good job. So, I’m just going to keep going until they think it’s time to have somebody else here.”
Katko is running against democrat Dana Balter.
