Crews battle barn fire in Cayuga County

CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Multiple fire crews battled a barn fire in Cayuga County on Friday.

The call came in around 6 p.m. along the 2000 block of Route 38A.

There aren’t many details, but 911 dispatchers tell NewsChannel 9 they think crews were able to save the structure.

There is no word on what may have sparked the fire but the investigation is ongoing.
