ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — There is more hiring happening in Central New York. Nineteen jobs will be added to DeWitt cryogenic systems manufacturer Cryomech.

The global company plans to move from its three-building facility on Falso Drive to new construction on part of the former Brooklawn Golf Course in DeWitt.

“Our systems, which get down to a temperature of about four degrees Kelvin, which is over 475 degrees below zero, so it’s quite cold. That science is used in a lot of different applications,” said Kelly Wypych, President of Cryomech.

Cryomech is currently in the design phase for the new building that will double its square footage and leave room to expand again.

The goal is to be moved in to the new site by next summer.
