ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office says a Utica man was killed in a construction accident on Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Rob Maciol says Frankie Torchia, 33, died when he fell off the roof of a four-story building on Main Street in Clark Mills. Torchia had been hired to do construction work and was at the site with another worker. Investigators say no safety equipment or harnesses were being used when he fell.
