Deputies search for suspect in Elbridge gas station shooting

ELBRIDGE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night in the parking lot of the Fastrac in the Village of Elbridge.

Just before 11 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Fastrac located at 100 West Main Street, for a reported shooting with injuries.

Deputies investigating the shooting say the victim and suspect had a verbal dispute which led to the suspect brandishing a firearm and shooting the victim in the lower body.

Witnesses told Deputies the suspect, a male in his 20s, was last seen leaving the area in a dark-colored unknown make vehicle.

The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
