ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Have no use for an old bike of yours? We know just the place to drop it off!

The 23rd annual Central New York Family Bicycle Giveaway is underway and they are accepting your old bikes to make a kid’s wish come true this holiday season. Organizers say bikes of all types are appreciated.

Volunteers work to fix the bikes up to give to families in need.

Organizers say they go through about $10,000 worth of bike parts each year, and each part is welcome.

“We get a lot of bicycles that children grow out of and then their parents will buy them a new one. All bicycles are welcome and appreciated. We take scooters, we take anything that has wheels on it,” said Jan Maloff, Coordinator for CNY Family Bicycle Giveaway.

You can drop off old bikes at the Dairy Building at the State Fairgrounds through December 19th.
