LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Donlin Drive Elementary School hosted its first career fair on Tuesday.
Fifth and sixth graders got the opportunity to explore careers in all different fields, getting them to think about jobs they might not have even known about.
“Well it’s exciting for me because I get to see all these people accomplish their goals and get to be something more than they wanted to be when they were kids. And I just think that it’s fun to see how these people accomplish their goals and they’re all happy and I’m just happy to see them happy. To be able to pay their bills and also be happy,” sixth-grader Dante Klis said.
Students got to learn about careers in all kinds of fields, including jobs in engineering, writing, the military, and even news reports and photographers.
