Celtic-rockers Dropkick Murphys will be returning to The Great New York State Fair in 2019 for another performance.
Dropkick Murphys performed at the Chevy Court at the 2018 Fair after Dickey Betts canceled at the last minute.
The group drew a crowd of about 13,455 fairgoers.
“We’re thrilled to bring back Dropkick Murphys and to give them a little more time to get ready for a big Chevy Court crowd. Last year, they said it was their first ever show at a state fair. This year, it’s another first—their first repeat performance at a state fair! This is a huge highlight of our concert season and a show absolutely not to be missed,” said Fair Director Troy Waffner.
This is the second show announced for Chevy Court for the 2019 Fair, following the announcement of Bad Company’s performance on opening night.
Dropkick Murphys take the stage on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 8 p.m.
Shows at Chevy Court are free with admission to the Fair.
