If you’re driving along Fly Road in East Syracuse — you may notice hundreds of blue pinwheels outside a local business.
Infinit Technology Solutions employees “planted” 500 blue pinwheels to raise child abuse prevention awareness during the awareness month. An effort in which McMahon Child Advocacy Center benefits.
The company’s president, Thomas Klink, says Infinit Technology Solutions’ location makes planting the pinwheels a “no brainer.”
“It allows people to see them. It makes them stop, ask questions, maybe go online and look up what it’s all about,” Klink said. “We do think it brings good awareness because we’re on a good roadway and we have a good traffic pattern here.”
Klink says his employees decide which local charities they want to support each year.
