SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — After much speculation, the Rocket Man tweeted a schedule of his final tour, including a show in Syracuse.
The show is scheduled for September 10, 2022 and is part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
According to the singer’s website, the concert will take place in the Carrier Dome and tickets go on sale to the general public June 30, 2021 online via www.ticketmaster.com or in person at the Dome’s temporary box office location at the Ensley Athletic Center.
The Ensley Athletic Center is located at 1315 E Colvin St., Syracuse, NY 13210. It will host a temporary box office for patrons to visit on Wednesday, June 30 through Friday, July 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Free, accessible parking is available right outside the Ensley Athletic Center in the Manley South lot.
Tickets are currently on sale only for American Express card holders, VIP pre-sale packages, and official platinum pre-sale.
There will be an eight ticket limit for Sir Elton’s concert.
Elton John last performed at the Carrier Dome in 2001 when he and Billy Joel sold out a show of more than 38,000 fans.
