FAYETTEVILLE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Local farmers are getting your tastebuds ready for the season.
Thursday kicked off the weekly Fayetteville Farmers Market from 12 to 6 p.m. in the Fayetteville Town Plaza.
You can meet your local farmers and purchase fresh produce.
Not only are the fruits and vegetables sweet, those who come often say the people are, too.
“Very nice people. Very trustworthy, they’re out because they want to know their food. They like the best and they know where to look,” said Sylvia Stoltzfus.
The market rule is that all vendors must produce their products within a 40-mile radius of Fayetteville.
The market will run until October 24th.
