SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Fire crews battled an apartment fire on the north side of Syracuse Thursday night.
The call first went out around 10:30 p.m. Thursday along Grant Boulevard, not far from Schiller Park.
When crews first arrived on the scene, they reported heavy smoke coming from the eves of the two-story home.
The fire started in the kitchen on the first floor. That’s where there is the most damage.
Everyone got out of the home safely.
Investigators are still working on a cause.
