A Syracuse firefighter was sent to the hospital early Wednesday morning after battling a series of overnight fires.
Crews were first called to battle a car fire on Dorothy Street in Syracuse around 1 a.m. Wednesday. That fire then spread to a nearby duplex.
Not long after the fire along Dorothy Street was put out, 911 dispatchers sent fire fighters to Sedgwick Street and Shuart Avenue for reports of another car fire.
The firefighter was the only one hurt — we’re told he was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries but is expected to be okay.
