ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Flex-Hose in East Syracuse is hiring for at least 50 positions, while it also sets its sights on expanding in a new location in Clay.
The company is looking for welders, machinists, and some entry-level workers.
They are on track to see its two current buildings off Crossbow Drive in East Syracuse.
Flex-Hose’s president says a Rochester business is in the market to buy their current buildings.
“Hopefully if everything goes well, everything will be wrapped up by the end of August and we can transition to that new building soon thereafter,” said Joanna Carter, Senior Vice President of Flex-Hose Co.
Flex-Hose plans to move to the Town of Clay.
That move was approved today by the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency.
The Buckley Road location is currently empty.
Flex-Hose plans to do some renovations to the Buckley Road building.
