WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSYR-TV) –

For the first time in his career Patrick Corbin started a World Series game for the Washington Nationals.

Houston though touched up the former C-NS star for four runs in six innings, as the Astros evened the World Series with an 8-1 win in Game 4.

Corbin gave up two runs in the first inning, but the big blow came in the 4th when he gave up a two-run homer off the bat of Robinson Chirinos.

The 30-year-old lefty finished the night allowing seven hits while striking out five.

Houston and Washington are now tied at two games a piece in the best-of-seven series.

Game 5 is slated for Sunday night in Washington, DC. Gerrit Cole will get the start for the Astros. Max Scherzer will start Game 5 for the Nationals.
