BURNS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Four people were killed in a one-car crash in the Allegany County town of Burns.
Just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday, New York State Police responded to a one-car crash in Burns. An investigation revealed that the car was traveling east on County Route 13C and failed to stop at a stop sign. The car traveled through the intersection of County Route 13C and County Route 13 and struck an embankment, followed by a tree.
One passenger was taken by helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital and is listed in stable condition. The driver and three other passengers in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
