Fulton police ask for help identifying body found in Oswego River

Fulton police are asking for help identifying a body found in the Oswego River around 10:30 a.m. Sunday. 

They discovered the body on the east side of the river near Lock 2 and the Fulton Public Library.

New York State Police and the U.S. Coast Guard were also notified. Though, Fulton police are unaware of any missing person cases recently reported in the area.

The body is described as a white, middle-aged female, between 5’5″ and 5’7″ tall, with medium length blonde hair and hazel eyes. It appears she was wearing a tan skirt and black and white striped shirt. A black peacoat style jacket was also recovered from the water.
