Gas main rupture in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The fire department and National Grid are on the scene of a gas main rupture in Syracuse.

Just before 9:30 a.m. Friday, a contractor ruptured a gas main on the 200 block of DeWitt Street in Syracuse.

National Grid is assessing the scene and working to make repairs. A spokesperson for National Grid says no customers are affected at this time.
