Gotcha Bikes back in service

Local News

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — We have a Your Stories update surrounding the Gotcha Bikes in the City of Syracuse.

Recently, a software glitch was affecting the new bike-share program. We reached out to the company who tells us that the bikes are back at their hubs and ready to go. The company had pushed a firmware update that caused some issues.

Officials add that if you plan on using a bike, be sure that the app is up to date.

The bikes will be free for riders for the 24 hours following the bikes coming back into service.
