Hancock Airport reminding people that cars cannot park at the curb to wait for passengers

Local News

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse’s Hancock Airport is stepping up enforcement of its pickup policy, reminding people that vehicles are not allowed to stand or park at the curb and wait for passengers.

They say you should go to the cell phone lot, which is free, until your arriving passenger contacts you.

The airport says the crackdown comes as a result of unprecedented growth in passenger traffic, which is up nearly 13 percent for the first half of the year.
