MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - It's been six weeks since Major went missing and his family is not giving up hope.
The Bluetick Coonhounds brother, Easton, is also not giving up hope. He howls for him in the backyard each and every day.
The family has held numerous search parties looking for Major, and have started a Facebook page for him, which has almost 3,000 likes.
"The thought that he might be out there, I have to keep doing it, and the thought that in a dog's brain could think that I've stopped looking, just breaks my heart," said Valerie Capriotti, Major's mom.
There is a $2,000 reward for Major. If you see him you're asked not to call out for him, as it may scare him. You're asked to call Valerie at 315-569-9109.
