IJC says Lake Ontario water levels likely to exceed 2017 levels

Local News

NEW YORK STATE (WSYR-TV) — The International Joint Commission issued a statement on Monday saying that water levels on Lake Ontario will likely exceed those in 2017.

Right now, the IJC says water levels are at 248.85 feet. In 2017, the water levels were at 248.95 feet.

The IJC says it is likely that the levels could crest in the next couple weeks, but potentially higher levels could happen if the wet weather continues.
