Four members of a motorcycle club have been arrested after an investigation into the assault of teenaged victims.
Endicott Police have charged the following members of the La Familia Motorcycle Club with Assault 2nd degree:
-Hector E. Torres, age 48, Harpursville
-Noel A. Torres, age 28, Binghamton
-Donald F. Dillenbeck, age 44, Endicott
-Joshua A. Shafer, age 29, Vestal
The arrests stem from a two-month investigation into the physical assault of 13 and 14-year-olds victim that occurred in May.
Police say that the members of the club were at a social gathering on Jenkins Avenue in the Village of Endicott, when the teens engaged in a “mischievous behavior” and were chased from the scene.
Police say members located the teens a short distance away, and forced them to return to the gathering.
Once the victims returned to the gathering, police say they were surrounded by the suspects while one whipped them with a belt.
Police say some of the victims were also grabbed or pushed to the ground as they attempted to escape the whipping.
The four were arrested on Tuesday.
They were arraigned in the Village of Endicott Court and taken to the Broome County Jail.
The investigation is continuing.
